Valkyrie Ranch is a wildlife preserve specializing in functionally extinct species such as the Peré David's Deer (Milu), and the Scimitar Oryx. The ranch is also home to over fifteen other species of deer and antelope, as well as alpacas, llamas, and Aoudad (Barbary Sheep.)
Donations help the ranch to supply vetranary services to the animals, build education programs, and buy feed and medication.

Percy!
This is Percy! He is a bottle fed Peré David's Deer who was purchased by the ranch when he was only a few weeks old. He had been injured soon after birth and was abandoned by his mother. As of April of 2022 he is one-year-old, and is a very sweet little guy who loves his human parents.

Not only are we the home of Thorin's Viking Brands (Mead) and The Texas Viking Festival We offer camping, romantic retreats in our beautiful cabins, horseback riding, photography, and education.
We also are a venue for events such as art festivals, weddings, receptions, corporate retreats, trail riding clubs, etc.
